1. Information We Collect
FoodSource USA collects commercial procurement data voluntarily submitted when posting Requests for Quotation (RFQs), claiming or adding facility listings, or contacting our procurement desk. This includes company legal name, corporate business email, direct telephone, destination city/state, product specifications, target FOB volumes, and required shelf life.
2. Use of Commercial Procurement Data
Procurement requirements and contact credentials submitted on FoodSource USA are transmitted strictly to accredited USDA food processors, packers, and logistics providers matching your specification. We never sell, lease, or monetize commercial buyer contact details or purchasing volumes to third-party telemarketers or advertisers.
3. USDA Public Registry Integration
Facility records including Establishment Numbers (EST), plant names, corporate physical addresses, grant dates, and authorized inspection activities (slaughter, processing, cold storage) are sourced from public USDA FSIS federal inspection records published under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
4. Proprietary Formulation & COA Protection
Private label product formulations, Certificates of Analysis (COA), custom blend ratios, and internal QA testing parameters exchanged between buyers and suppliers through our platform remain strictly confidential and subject to standard commercial non-disclosure agreements.
5. Enterprise Security & Encryption
All data in transit is protected with 256-bit TLS encryption powered by Cloudflare edge architecture. Database records are stored securely in Cloudflare D1 distributed edge storage with strict role-based access control (RBAC).
